Duck Spring Roll with Orange Risotto
The Duck Spring Roll is the winning recipe from an episode of Top Chef.
The Orange Risotto is adapted from a FoodTV recipe found here (where I basically substituted orange zest for the lemon).
How to make Duck Spring Roll with Orange Risotto
The flavor combination is the classic pairing of orange and duck. The pairing of a spring roll with risotto is sort of my take on congee served with fried bread stick that is found in Chinese cuisine.
Overall, the flavors were good, but you couldn't really dip the spring roll into the risotto as easily as with congee.
