Mum's Ginger Chicken
4 chicken drums
200 - 300 gm ginger (depends on personal preference)
3 teaspoons salt
2 - 3 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 carrot diced
3 potatoes diced
How to make Mum's Ginger Chicken
Haha.. my mum taught me this recipe long time ago. OMG its one of my fav dish to cook when I need comfort food.
1.) Use blender for ginger and garlic
2.) Use a pot, heat up vegetable oil and sesame oil. Stir fry ginger and garlic till slight brown.
3.) Add chicken. Add Salt.
4.) Add potatoes and carrots.
5.) Add chicken stock till the top of all ingredients.
6.) Medium heat for 40mins with cover.
7.) Before serving, put it to large boil uncovered for 3 mins.
Serve with rice.
Good for 2 people.
Serve with Hainanese Chilli Sauce if desired.
